Established in the spring of 1993, the mission of the Maine 207 Foundation is:
To acquire and distribute resources to the students and staff of District 207 for the purpose of providing extended learning opportunities to further the educational mission of the District.
Our goals are to:
To achieve these goals, the Foundation provides grants for creative and challenging enrichment activities, staff development of innovative instructional practices to enhance student learning, and cooperative ventures among learning communities. District 207 teachers and students may apply for grants for these programs by visiting the Grants page.
Business, education and community leaders make up a volunteer-based Board of Trustees that governs the Foundation. To learn more about volunteering on the board, please visit the Volunteer page.
The Maine 207 Foundation is registered as a 501(c)3 non-profit tax-exempt organization as the Maine Township High School District Educational Foundation. The Foundation operates independently of Maine Township High School District 207 and the District 207 Board of Education.
