To acquire and distribute resources to support student well-being and promote innovative learning opportunities for the students and staff of District 207 that support the district’s Vision of Learning.
Our goals are to provide resources to:
Promote student development through educational enrichment activities and grants for students to pursue additional educational and career opportunities
Encourage excellence through creative “best practice” teaching ideas and programs and by supporting professional growth for all staff
Enhance students’ well-being and ability to learn through programs that support their physical and emotional health
Foster school and community partnerships by facilitating cooperative ventures among the Foundation, community groups, and the school district.
To achieve these goals, the Foundation provides grants for creative and challenging enrichment activities, staff development of innovative instructional practices to enhance student learning, student well-being initiatives, and cooperative ventures among learning communities. District 207 teachers and students may apply for grants for these programs by visiting the Grants page. Business, education and community leaders make up a volunteer-based Board of Trustees that governs the Foundation. To learn more about volunteering on the board, please visit the Volunteer page.
